The Department of Nuclear Engineering, University of Dhaka. is offering a three-semester full time MS course in Nuclear
Engineering, Applications are invited from interested graduates for admission to the fist batch of the MS course for the
session 2012. |

Eligibility of Applicants:
- Students who have completed four-year Bachelor's degree or three year Bachelors and one
year Masters degree in subjects mentioned below with results published not earlier than three years from the date
publication of this notice are eligible to apply.
- The students must secure a minimum CGPA of 3.0 or equivalent in any of
the following subjects; Physics. Applied Physics, Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Mathematics. Computer Science and
Engineering. Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering.
Application Procedure:
- Application Procedure: Application forms can be collected from the office of the Dean. Faculty of Engineering and
Technology. University of Dhaka on payment oi Tk 500/- only to the Bank Account: Chairman. Nuclear Engineering
Department. AC-0200001553323, Agrani Bank Ltd., Dhaka University Br. (Curzon Hall).
- The completed application form,
along with an attested copy of certificates / transcripts of all previous examinations and two passport size photographs and
receipt of bank deposit must be submitted to the office of the Dean no later than 14 August 2012.
- An admission test
covering basic physics. chemistry. mathematics and general knowledge will be held on 31 August 2012 at 10.00am.
- The
exact place oi the admission test will be announced later.
- The selected candidates will be called for an interview before
final decision is made.
